Lamb Chop @ Food Court

We usually eat steak at the steak restaurant/cafe. Lamb chop, chicken chop, beef chop, pork chop, all of those with a glass of wine, or maybe Jasmine tea :)

But what if the place's too far or you have unsufficient fund? #lol

Tonight I desperately wanna eat lamb chop, but I was too busy until I forgot the time. Steak house usually close at 10pm and I'm not the type of person who loves to eat in a rush. So, I decided to try a lamb chop at the foodcourt near my place.

It's not bad at all, seriously! And RM11 is definitely a good deal. Even though I had to admit it, the portion is a bit smaller and it's not enough for my stomach :p

But then... I'm satisfied!! *blurppp*

Went for a high-tea with my friend last week after we discharged a rescued shih tzu dog from the vet, but suddenly I decided to try their pasta.

It's an outdoor pet-friendly cafe. I love pet-friendly cafe. Seriously, it's hard to find one, and I'm sooo glad that this place is not too far from my place.

They have many choices of breads and  cakes too.

Choose one, or try all?
All smells good ~
Good environment

Mango Juice
My drink was mango juice. It's refreshing, but it's not a pure mango. It cost me RM6.50

Creamy Mushroom Fettucine
I am not a fans of mushroom, so I don't know what got into my mind that time I ordered this. =P
It taste delicious thou. the cream was perfect and the pasta was al dente.

Seafood Allio Olio Pasta is a good choice as well. My friend ordered without prawn, as she's allergic to prawn. It's fresh and it's not too oily.

Total bill was RM35.30
Casper, adopted Shih Tzu
This is Casper, rescued dog from the pound. He's adopted by a good family now.

Churos

Before we leave, I decided to try their churos, but the taste was out of my expectation. I really miss Spanish churos :'(

XIao Bai, Hit & Run Victim Dog, for ADOPTION

Xiao Bai used to live outside of our housing area, together with her mother and sister. The mother used to be a guard dog at construction area, but when they got to know that she's pregnant, they dumped her.

One day, my neighbor alerted me about Xiao Bai. She was hit by a car. I found her lying on the street, and blood came out from her mouth. I thought she was about to die, and unlucky me, I had no transport that time to take her to the vet. So, I pleaded for help on MDDB page, and right after, my friend came to help me bring her to Animal Medical Center.

Here's video of her while waiting for the transportation. I don't understand why people could just let the dog dying on the street and they feel no guilt at all...

Poor Xiao Bai had to wait for few hours before we managed to take her to AMC.

Here's her video when she's starting to recovering after a week.

After few weeks, Vet finally gave her a clean bill, and we could bring her home. But, the problem is now, I couldn't put her back to the street. It's too dangerous for her, thus, she needs a forever home.

Anyone willing to adopt her, please feel free to drop a comment here or call 0122542460.

Here's the latest pictures of cutie Xiao Bai =)

FOUND A LOST CAT AT SS7/16 KELANA JAYA

I'm looking for the owner of this cat. I gave her a name, Candy, because she's so sweet, just like a candy.

I found her at SS7/16, Kelana Jaya on 7 September 2013 night. She saw me at the park and came to me. She climbed on my leg and miao-ing like asking for help. She has a soft and nice long fur, and definitely someone's pet before.

She loves to stick around human, so I guess she's missing her owner.

If you're her owner, please call 012-254 7116 or email to: zofachan@gmail.com or comment here.

McDonald's Brekkie Wrap

Wait!! before you're heading to MCDonald's for their new menu, think twice. The picture on the counter looks so promising...

My saliva was drooling when I saw it, this morning. RM 4 (not include tax) for weekday set, comes with a cup of tea or coffee. I told to myself "Wow! I should try this!" So then I ordered Brekkie Wrap with Chicken Roll ( I don't like the taste of McDonald's sausage).

I patiently queued for around 10 minutes as a girl infront of me was ordering so many foods, feel
excited to get my order, and then shocked with I saw a tiny little
teeny weeny thingy infront of me... =.=

Now, you feel me? I'm not a big eater especially in the morning, but this piece definitely is not enough for me.

So, if you're looking for a small bite to eat, you can consider it, but if you're hungry... hold yourself and do not get seduced by the picture on the counter, ok! :D

The Conjuring (2013)

Many said that this movie is one freakin scary and based on true story, so I challenged myself to watch it. Turns out, it's not that scary as I imagine it would be. But, if you never watched scary movie before, prepare yourself for this one.

Synopsis:

"In 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron move their family into a dilapidated Rhode Island farm house and soon strange things start happening around it with escalating nightmarish terror. In desperation, Carolyn contacts the noted paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, to examine the house. What the Warrens discover is a whole area steeped in a satanic haunting that is now targeting the Perron family wherever they go. To stop this evil, the Warrens will have to call upon all their skills and spiritual strength to defeat this spectral menace at its source that threatens to destroy everyone involved." Written by Kenneth Chisholm (kchishol@rogers.com)

During the movie, I kept saying to my friends "if I were them, I would definitely go out from the house and find a safe place." I don't know why whenever they heard some weird sound, they would go themselves to find out what's that. Maybe I am the coward type #hahahaha... I would definitely run away and find someone to accompany me. #lol.

The possessed doll always make me freak out. perhaps I watch too many Chucky's movie, that's why I hate to have that kind of doll. But, the original Annabelle is completely different from the movie. Wanna see the real one....??

Left is the original Annabelle & Right is the movie's version
Not scary enough?? Then, watch this!

Check under your bed before you sleep, will ya =P

The Smurfs 2 (2013)

Last week, I got an invitation to attend premiere screening of The Smurfs 2 from Nuffnang. I never had a chance to watch the first one, but it's not a problem at all. I enjoyed the movie and it was funny. So, now I'm thinking to watch the first one. #lol

Synopsis:

"The evil wizard Gargamel creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurf-essence. But when he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants, and only a secret spell that Smurfette knows can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and brings her to Paris, where he has been winning the adoration of millions as the world¹s greatest sorcerer. It's up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world, reunite with their human friends Patrick and Grace Winslow, and rescue her! Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus or will the Smurfs convince her that their love for her is True Blue?" Written by Columbia Pictures

I love Smurfette's new hair style, thanks to Gargamel.

Smurfette and The Naughties

And my favourite character is Azrael. #hahaha... He is who he is... a CAT.

Watch the trailer before heading to the cinema to make sure this is your kind of movie to watch =)

Happy watching! and thanks again, NuffnangMy =)

Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)

 Director: J.J. Abrams

Writers: Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman

Stars: Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana

Synopsis:

"When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew." (c) Paramount

Star Trek is one of my childhood movies, believe it or not. In my memory, the movie was all about flying ship, fighting and the handsome James Kirk. Until Yesterday, I finally realized it's more interesting than what my memory tells me. Star Trek Into Darkness was funny, entertaining, and really a good movie to catch. Plus, it's good to watch in IMAX 3D! Some scenes were censored, thou.

You won't see this in the cinema.

Thanks to Nuffnang Malaysia for the screening. I really enjoyed my night. And for you who wonder how good the movie is, check out the trailer.

 Enjoy your movie!

Drug War (Chinese Movie)

Synopsis:

"Drug War (Du zhan 毒戰) is a Chinese-Hong Kong film directed and produced by Johnnie To. The film stars Sun Honglei as police captain Zhang who partners with a drug lord named Timmy Choi (Louis Koo) after he is arrested. To avoid the death penalty, Choi agrees to reveal information about his partners who operate a cocaine ring. Zhang grows suspicious of Choi's honesty as several police officers began a raid on the drug ring." ~Wikipedia

Kinda regret to watch this movie. It's not like what I've expected. Well, this is the spoiler: all characters die. :p Yeah, the movie sucks and really easy to predict. I rather watch Louis Koo in comedy movie instead of action.

Magnum Paintball Challenge 2013

Last Saturday I had an unforgettable moment with Magnum4D. For the very first time, I finally tried a game called "Paintball". Yeah, laugh me, I know I'm lousy for not trying it earlier, but hey, at least I don't have to spend money for this game. Thanks to Magnum4D for sponsor everything. =D

We reached Bukit Jalil Park around 8am. After registration, they served us with breakfast while waiting everyone else to get ready. And at about 9am, before the game started, we had a quick briefing.

Our briefing instructor is a funny guy. For around 30 minutes he explained to us about the game, the safety, the safety, and the safety again. Yeah, paintball is considered an extreme game, so safety is very important. We have to really listen carefully on what to do(s) and don't(s), for our own safety.

Our briefing instructor
preparing for briefing
There were 10 teams, and I was in team number 9. Each team consist of 10 people, but unlucky for my team, 2 person didn't manage to come. So, we had to survive with 8 people. I brought a long 3 of my friends, and met 4 new friends there.

The gun is about 1.5kg, for some people it's not heavy, for me, it's kinda heavy. :p There were 2 expert teams, and they're really pro! They even brought their own equipment, except the gun. To be fair, we have to use the same gun and given 50 bullets for each game.

The expert team #1

The expert team #2 and the winner!
The guns. The colorful guns are more lighter. :)
I know, most of you should've known how to play paintball. (I think I'm the newbie here). So, I don't have to explain how to play. Basically, you just shoot, shoot, and shoot. People said paintball is painful. I got shot few times, it's just a bit painful, thou.

My team didn't manage to go to semi final. We're number 3 from the bottom. Well, I'm still proud, because 8 of us were really newbies, and I thought we were the loser. While waiting the finalists preparing themselves for the last battle, we had our awesome lunch provided by Magnum4D. And after we got the winner, each of us didn't come home with empty hand. Win or Lose, we still got prize from magnum4D. They really treat us nice, right? :D

My team!!

I really enjoyed my Sunday morning with Magnum4D. And, my friend's brother who joined us that day said this to me, "please take me go again to any other Magnum4D event in the future!"

If you don't wanna miss this kind of opportunity, faster start with following Magnum4D facebook page and also twitter! Here's the links for you:

Dubu Dubu Korean Restaurant @ MidValley Megamall

Dubu Dubu Seoul Food

LG048, Lower Ground Floor, MidValley Megamall,
Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

Tel: 03-2287 8980

Website: http://www.dubudubu.com.my

Went here for a quick lunch week ago. The design of the restaurant looks like a fast-food restaurant, but I can say this restaurant is one of the healthy kind of food.

Dubu means tofu, and yes their main dish is tofu. Their special menu is called soondubu jigae, and it serves with Dubu Dubu rice and 3 banchan (side dishes).

My chicken soondubu jigae
There's also the infamous bibimbap and bulgogi.

Chicken Bibimbap
Overall, it's quite enjoyable and worth to try, but still, it can't really satisfied me because the restaurant is pork-free. :p

Bon appetite!

BEN

I can't tell you yet what happened, but I hope you could understand.

The feeling I have now, is so complicated.

It happened too fast, and it seems like a nightmare for me... for all of us.

I hope it's just a nightmare... I hope it would never happened....

"Ben you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
If you ever look behind and don't like what you find
There's something you should know you've got a place to go"

" Ben most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again if they had a friend like Ben"
