Johnny English Reborn (2011)

Been waiting for this movie for few months, and thanks to NuffnangMY and ChurpChurp I could watch this funny movie few days before it's on screen.

Official Synopsis:
Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the accidental secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn. In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence officer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos. In the years since MI7′s top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. But when his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the Chinese premier’s life, they must hunt down the highly unorthodox agent. Now that the world needs him once again, Johnny English is back in action.

If you're a big fans of Mr. Bean, you have to watch this. It's like Mr. Bean's movie in Bond's suit. The story line is quite simple, and we will feel annoyance because he's too naive, yet act like he knows everything. Typical Mr. Bean, huh?! :p

If you're feeling down, upset, sad, or angry, go and watch this movie. It will make you laugh till you forget what's happened in your life before :)

Enjoy the show.

Mikha

Apollo 18 (2011) Movie Review

Synopsis

Decades-old found footage from NASA's abandoned Apollo 18 mission, where two American astronauts were sent on a secret expedition, reveals the reason the U.S. has never returned to the moon.

That's it? Yes, at simple as the synopsis. The movie is too simple for me, and don't even dare to compare it with Apollo 13.

My friend asked me to watch this movie, and thanks to NuffnangMY for the screening tickets, I didn't have to spend my money for this movie. I have to give a note to myself to never watch a footage movie anymore, or... at least watch the trailer before heading to cinema =)

Enjoy the movie ^^

I'm not a party-kaki, but this event attracts me as I never been gather with Nuffnangers and Nuffies surrounded with music and alcohol drinks, plus dancing floor! And what makes me wanna go badly is because of the hottest act from the hot and sexy international R&B star Taio Cruz!!!!

Bridesmaids (2011)

Special thanks to ChurpChurp for the invitation to attend the premiere screening of Bridesmaid before it's officially released on 8 September 2011.

Move out boys, it's girls time =) yes, it is because Bridesmaids is a story about what girls are doing when one of their besties gonna has a wedding!

Synopsis

Kristen Wiig leads the cast as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony.

Annie’s life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian’s maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she’ll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you’ll go for someone you love.
From Universal Pictures

For some people, this movie is kinda out-to-date, and also a little bit boring, but not for me. I love simplicity and story about things that kinda make sense and does happend in our real life. What happend to Annie, Lilian, Hellen and the rest of the them might also happening in our life.

But, to be honest, to find a guy like Nathan Rodhes is a bit hard. :p For some people, they might say "you just didn't realise it." or "open your heart, there's plenty good guy out there!" or "that's because you don't want to look around with your heart, you only look the one you like."

That's so not true! I've looked around and confirmed that there's no man like Nathan Rodhes. :) Watch the movie and you will know what kind of man he is.

Ice Kacang & Cendol Malacca

Where could you find the delicious ice kacang? Obviously not in KL.

A friend of mine told me it's in Lumut, but that's way too far! So, I decided to fulfil my craving at Malacca.

Actually, Malacca is well-known for Ice Cendol. There's nowhere to find soft texture cendol except Malacca. Apparently, their Ice Kacang is not bad as well. It's worth to drive for around 1.5 hours for these delicate dessert :)

Gues what I found at the Jonker street?

Very big peanut!! I used to eat this during my childhood, and how I wish they could sell this in Cinemas instead of popcorn. Lol!

Mission almost accomplished! Just one more thing to complete my 'craving of the day'. =)

Malacca Chicken Rice Ball

The famous, can say trade mark of Malacca, chicken rice ball. If you come here during weekend or public holiday, be prepared to queue. There are many shops, just choose which one has a short queue.

After waiting for around 20minutes, we got our seat and the food was served pretty fast!

Reco Wong told me that long long time ago, the rice ball was small compare to now. I prefer normal rice to eat with the chicken. Some of you might say, "go nearest chicken rice shop only then!" but seriously, the chicken here has a special taste that you couldn't find in other places.

Nommm..nommm....nommm...

Floppy Straw Beach Hat

I bought this beautiful hat yesterday when I was in Bagan Lalang beach.

Wanna know what's the price? Not all expensive things are good and vice versa...

This beautiful beach hat will only cost you RM15, or RM 12 if you are a good bargainer.

Love it to the max!!
