Thanks to Churp Churp  for the invitation to this movie screening last night. I really had no idea what the movie was all about, as I didn't google nor watched the preview before. Only after the movie, I started to wonder, why they chose "CONTRABAND" as the title.

Don't mind to learn a little bit English, do you? The word contraband, reported in English since 1529, from Medieval French contrebande "a smuggling," denotes any item which, relating to its nature, is illegal to be possessed or sold.

So, now we know why the title of the movie is Contraband!! =)

The movie's good, not bad at all, and the plot of the story quite interesting, so it won't make you feel bored during the 1 hour 50 minutes inside the cinema.

Watch the movie, fully recommended!! but, don't learn to be a smuggler ya =P

Mikha

Dream to go Paris? Wanna see the beautiful Eiffel Tower? Well, if you couldn't afford it yet, not to worry, you now can go to Damansara Perdana to at least enjoy the feeling to be like in Paris. Thanks to this newly opened restaurant, Allo Paris!

Allo Paris gives you a great ambiance as like you're in Paris for a romantic dinner. Yet, you don't have to worry about what food to order, as they have a variety of Asian & French cuisine. Many people are afraid to go in to some restaurants with a nice interior and high-class design, because they thought it would be pricey. Well, don't judge a book from its cover =)

Coffee Tables

The food's price here is not really expensive. Reasonable price, I would say, and the taste is not bad also.

Not an ordinary fried rice, it's...Kimchi Fried Rice!!
A very big size of fish & Chip
Yup, this is Salmon

A very unique complimentary water. I wish I could take the bottle home with me. :p

Chocolate Milkshake

She couldn't finish her Fish & Chip

We went there on 11.11.11 , and because it was a special day, we saw someone proposed his girlfriend with a romantic way during our dinner.

Allo Paris... from its name, we knew it's a perfect place for a romantic event. Valentine's Day, perhaps? :)

Love,
Mikha

Finally I watched this movie yesterday!! Stacia won 4 tickets to watch this in any cinemas in KL, but because it's a complimentary passes, we have to wait until the crowd is over. Plus, I've been too busy with an event and had no time to watch any latest movies.

The funniest scene =p
The movie's successfully made me laugh start from the beginning until the end. As usual, combination between the 'abnormal' Holmes and the intellectual Watson are extremely hilarious. Downey has done a great job in the first two movies now of creating a new Sherlock Holmes character. He is perfectly cast. And when all is said and done, these performances may be the ones he is most remembered for. He seems comfortable in this role, and brings a nice believability to this. Jude Law is strong at Dr. Watson, and seems on the same page with Downey most of the time.

A must watch movie!! =)
