Annabelle (2014)

Synopsis:
John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia - a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia's delight with Annabelle doesn't last long. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now... Annabelle.

I never had a horror movie alone before, but this time, I had to.  Somehow, I knew it wont be that scary :) Nah.. I just didn't have a companion with me at that moment, and this was the only movie that's available during my free time. LOL.

But, honestly, the movie didn't scare me that much. Shock perhaps. And who would be that creepy to collect a doll like that? I don't know maybe during that time, Barbie haven't been invented yet. If it were me, I would have throw away the doll far far away from my sight.

Oh wait, the husband did throw it away, but it came back. So...???

Oh well... just watch if you like to pay for some shock therapy. :))

Breakfast at Mcdonald's, Pluit Village Mall, Jakarta Utara, Indonesia

Another fast (junk) food that I tried during breakfast time in Jakarta is the infamous Mcdonald's. Just like malaysia's Mcdonald's, they also serve big breakfast and other breakfast set. Normal breakfast set such as chicken muffin set cost me IDR 20,000 without hash-brown and IDR 25,000 with hash-brown. But then again, they don't refill the tea or coffee :(

To my surprise, the chicken muffin is so delicious, compare to Malaysia one. The bread is kinda crispy, fresh and hot, the chicken is tender and over all, I like this one better :)

Mcdonald's Chicken Muffin

Normal black tea, just like the others. Don't expect for a refill here thou.

There's 24 hours Mcdonald's around Jakarta, but where I went to was the normal outlet inside a mall. The mall operates from 10am in the morning, but Mcdonald's opens at 9am which you can access from the entrance outside the mall.

Breakfast at Dunkin Donut Bandengan, Jakarta, Indonesia

It is not easy to find a place to hang-out with a good free wifi in Jakarta which opens until late. So, if you're in Jakarta and looking for a decent internet connection ( I said decent, don't expect a high-speed connection, okay :p) at anytime, you can come to this place called Dunkin Donuts.

Mostly, Dunkin Donuts' outlets in Jakarta (and around Indonesia) open 24 hours and they have breakfast set, a sunny egg sandwich with tea or coffee. The place is quite comfortable, but the electric sockets are limited and they provide two pins sockets only.

Here's my Earl Grey tea. too bad, they don't provide hot water refill. My tea was too black and the air conditioner made it cold :(

I ordered sunny egg croissant for my sandwich.. It taste nice, but the portion is kinda small (half of the normal size). Well, because the price is also "small" IDR 15,000 or MYR 4.

This is the address of Dunkin Donuts that I went to:
Jalan Bandengan Selatan No.62, Tambora, Kota Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta 11240

Hop Hop Cafe @ SS18, Subang Jaya

Hop Hop Cafe's Menu
When I first enter the place, I saw the order counter with open kitchen, but I couldn't find the menu, until I looked back. It's there, on the blackboard!

They serve varieties of simple western food, coffee and cakes. We started with a set of affogato and Oreo cheese cake. It comes with Haagen Dash ice-cream!

Oreo Cheese Cake
Affogato + Ice Cream

Macaroni & Cheese
Next, we ordered Macaroni & Cheese. It's "kosong" as some of us are vegetarian. Normally, they serve it with chicken or beef meat.

Earl Grey Tea
Earl Grey tea as our drink. There's no free water, but you can buy a bottle of mineral water from them for RM3, and you're also helping an animal rescue group that they choose every month.

A young girl could finish all of these all together!! :D
Now, what's so special about this place? Why I would definitely come again, and again and again?
You must have known the answer if you know me well. It's because.... Pet Friendly place!!!

Yay! Another pet friendly cafe is in town!! They also have their own rabbits INSIDE the cafe, and you can pet them while enjoying your coffee. Make sure you read the terms & conditions before entering the rabbit zone, because we don't want those tiny fluffy little thingy get hurts, do we?

My fatty boy, Cairo, got to enjoy himself in the outdoor area. It's non air-conditioned, but worry not, as now they are doing renovation and upgrading it to become air-conditioned, so our furry-kids can feel comfortable while accompanying us.

Choices of cakes
Indoor
This is the indoor area. On the left side is the rabbit zone. There's a long table with chairs for you to sit and enjoy your coffee while watching the rabbits hopping here and there. I took the picture of the rabbits from outside because it was rabbit resting time when I got there.

Do take note, 2 - 4pm is their resting time, so if you want to pet them, do come earlier or later. :D
And since they are doing renovation to make all pet lovers and their pets comfortable, they are closed until 19 June 2014. Follow their facebook page  for more update, ok!

Can I have my Earl Grey, please?

High tea with Cairo, the fatty chihuahua, anyone? :)

Nana's Green Tea Cafe @ The Gardens, Mid Valley

Look at that happy face! Yes, dessert could make all of us happy. And this dessert is also make us healthy, because it's green tea. The place is so happening, and it was crowded even though it's weekday, but we don't have to wait for the food to be served for so long, the service is amazingly fast!

The young girl had a parfait and since she's not a matcha lover, she chose chocolate. Jelly's scooped into the base, with layers of cornflakes, ice-cream, red bean paste, and chocolate cake. It's yummy and cost us RM19.80.

Tea, is always a must. There are four choices of tea, the simple Uji-Cha, the wild fragrance Karigane-Cha, the toasty-nutty flavour Hoji-Cha, and the roasty brown rice aroma Gemmai-Cha. our choice was Karigane-Cha, and we're satisfied with it.

Another thing that would make us back to this place is this. A bowl of Udon which is simply uh-mazing! A hot soupy bowls of udon covered in fresh-tasting seaweed, spring onions, and a poached egg that cost us RM15.80 is just so irresistible.

For a matcha or green tea lover like me, this place is heaven.

It's located at the Lower Ground Floor, The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley.
Open Daily from 10am - 10pm.

Enjoy your meal :)

I was about to post some of interesting foods and movies until my laptop crashed yesterday. All the pictures, files, ALL OF THEM disappeared. I had to reinstall my laptop and now I'm half done.

So, give me couple more days, and I will be back for good ^^
