When Words are Hard to Say: Cafe Barbera, Bangsar

Saw this "slightly-Europe" cafe for few times when I was on the way to one of my student's house. It's actually a coffee legend back in Italy. The environment is nice, so I decided to give it a try with Wong's girls (Reco, Chloe, Sunnie, Mokaka, Yien Ning, Rowye and Stacia Wong) for supper-session.

We've been served by a polite waitress who Patiently help us find a comfort and suitable seat.

Indoor area. At first, we would like to sit at the red sofa there, but there's no enough space for 8 of us.

We chose outside seat after rejected their offer to sit in the private room. Way too big for 8 of us :p

Well, without further ado, let's check out for the menu:

Zuppa E Creme (Mushroom soup). From its look, it's obviously rich of mushroom.

Smoked Salmon Fettucine. It's not bad evwn though I can't say it's good. The Salmon was nice but the creamy sauce is not so special, and the garlic was too strong.

Cappucino Freddo ordered by Reco. Yes, it's a coffee and she forced me to sip it a lil bit. It's good. You don't have to add on sweetener, except if you like sweet.

My drink was Chocolate Shake. It actually more like blended ice-cream for me. =P

We ordered Hawaiian Seafood Pizza to be shared. Well once again it's just so ordinary. If they could make the base of the pizza be more crispier, I would say it's delicious :)

Kinda pricey for a normal Prawn Aglio Olio. It's so peppery and lot's of garlic.

Over all, foods are average. They serve western foods only, but don't expect the taste will be outstanding. It's just normal.

Drinks are good, though. They specialty is coffee. There's no alcohol drink here, so if you're planning to get drink, drive for few more miles to bangsar village area :p

Mokaka, Ning & Rowye

The complimentary should falls to the environment. It's a nice place to hang out, chit chat, and gather with friends, with a warm and peaceful ambiance.
