One of Indonesian-Malay Restaurant that serve good foods, with excellent service and quality. There's not many Chinese-Malaysian have an appetite to Indonesian foods, because it's fried and spicy, but not for my makan-kaki, Reco Wong. Since I introduced her with Indonesian foods, she's started her addiction.

Emping

 The Crackers with Fiery Sambal. in Indonesia this crackers named Emping. During my childhood life, I often eat hot white rice with this Emping pour with sweet soya sauce.

Indonesian Ice Tea

 Indonesian Sweet Ice Tea. Just like Malaysian have their Cameron Tea, Indonesia also has their own tea which taste differently from any other teas. It's refreshing and relaxing.

Barley Drink

 To be honest, I seldom had a Barley as my beverage. And again, this wasn't mine. 

I didn't force her to drink that. She's the one who had willingness to order that drink =) 

While waiting the foods to be served,  I took the picture of the restaurant's environment. The setting is serene and classy. Service is excellent and staffs are polite. You might think this is a expensive restaurant, judging from their setting, but no! They are affordable enough and worth every penny.

White Rice or Yellow Rice

You could choose whether you want a white rice or yellow rice, and I chose to mix them. 

Kangkung

The most popular Asian vegie is no doubt Kang Kung. Whenever there's Fried Kang Kung in house, it's always be my top priority.

Kerabu Pucuk Paku

This is called Wild Fern Shoot Salad, or in Malay name: Kerabu Pucuk Paku. It's cooked with coconut and taste a bit spicy. It's delicious =)

Bebek Goreng Bali

As the restaurant name Dancing Fish, we supposed had to try their truly dancing fish, but because there's only two of us (we didn't bring any back up), we thought that we couldn't manage to finish all the foods up, so we chose to take Bali Fried Duck or Bebek Goreng Bali as our main course. Crispy duck, marinated in Balinese herbs & spices for 24 hours, then fried, absolutely MOUTHWATERING!

Cumi Bakar

Grilled Squid or Cumi Bakar. This was requested by Reco, because she's a squid lover, and it didn't fail me, really.

Soto Ayam

Indonesian Chicken Soup or Soto Ayam. Simple and taste just ok. If you're a soto ayam consumer like me, you'll agree with me that this one just an ok taste =P come to Jakarta and you'll find the real super delicious soto ayam that you won't forget.

Es Cendol

The last order was dessert, Ice Cendol. If you don't like sweet, reminds them when you order this to reduce the brown sugar, because the taste's kinda sweet. It's a good dessert, though =)

I took my furkids to have a fresh air today before my class, because Stacia told me that they seems like too bored inside the room. I knew that Bangsar area most of the times is a pet-friendly area, so I had no doubt to take them with me. We had our late lunch in a Kiwi-Australian Cafe called Antipodean.

When we arrived, the waiter came to us and asked us to place orders. We looked at each other, and asked him back "what to order?" as he didn't give us the menu. He apologized and explain to us that to keep green environment, they decided not to provide any menus book, yet we still can order from...

Menu

Yup, they wrote their menu on a black wall inside the cafe. If you can't read it clearly, don't you worry, just ask the waitress and they will mention to you each of the menus they have.

Cappuccino

I had read a review about this place previously before I came, and noticed that their specialities are coffe and breakfast. They serve arabica coffee from Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Sulawesi. We didn't try it, only Reco had a cappuccino, and it tasted good.

Camomile Tea

Stacia had a pot of Camomile Tea because she's a tea drinker. :) She likes to drinks tea, especially te with special smells.

Mango Smoothies

I like to drink something fresh, so I chose the mango smoothies. And yes, I made a great choice! It tasted yummy, because Kiwi Smoothies tends to put yoghurt inside, and me likey <3

All Day Breakfast

My meal was called All Day Breakfast. It's a combination of Omelet, Red Bean, Pork Sausage, Grill Tomatoes, and Toast. OMG, I love the toast! It's crispy and mouthwatering..

2nd meal, Big Breakfast

What's the difference between All Day breakfast and Big Breakfast? There's no red bean and they change it with mushroom, plus there's no tomatoes instead of Hasbrown. I prefer All Day Breakfast thou, you guys know how much I dislike mushroom. =P

Caramelized Apple & Almond Cake

There are many option for the dessert at the counter, such as cookies, carrot cake, lemon maringue pie, and chocolate cake.

Their setting is sparkling and the ambience is very cozy. It feels like a new cafe, thou. :)

With a tree on the outside, and nice weather at that time, we felt like we're in Western Country's cafe. Especially when you can take your furkids a long with you. I really love the feeling to yamcha with my kids. =)

Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides @ TGV The Mines

Ahoy, matey! Have ye watched the fourth installment of Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in the cinema? I WARN ye, book the ticket(s) few days earlier, or ye won't get a good seat, or nothing at all.

The Extrovert Captain Jack Sparrow. Me Love him <3

Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack and his crew are in the quest of immortality. Old and new enemies are back while Jack faces new dangers and enemies. He will face: zombies, mermaids, Royal Navy, and Blackbeard. Laughs, adventure, excitement, and action are brought back in the search of eternal life. Not to forget, Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). If you haven't watched the trilogy of Pirates of The Caribbean, I think it's good for you to know about his character.

Barbossa was first introduced in the series as the main antagonist of the first film, and pirate captain of the Black Pearl after committing mutiny against the ship's former captain, Jack Sparrow, in the series' first installment, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Having met his demise in the climax of the film, his character is revealed to have been resurrected at the end of Dead Man's Chest, becoming a supporting protagonist in At World's End. In the fourth film, On Stranger Tides, he has become a privateer in the King's Navy and is ordered to be Jack's guide on an expedition for the Fountain of Youth. (Courtesy of Wikipedia)

At the end, you'll know how selfish he is

And why Blackbeard insists for Fountain of Youth? He is the heartless pirate captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge who wants to escape a prophecy of his death by finding the Fountain of Youth. With the exception of Angelica, due to her blind familial loyality to him, Blackbeard's staff of officers are zombies who follow his every order. He appears to have the power to command his ship using a sword, which is taken from him following his death by Barbossa. How he came by this ship, its origin and the origin of his zombie crew is not known.

There's a romantic scene between the religious guy with a mermaid. The ending for both of them, of course very romantic :) Curious why there's a mermaid in this movie? Watch the movie, and you'll know. She takes important role for all the pirates' mission. :)

Penelope Cruz is always as pretty and sexy as in any films of hers. But, have to admit, in this film, her acting's kinda disappointing. But, when I knew that during the shoot of this movie she was pregnant, I think I can understand that.

Pirates of the caribbean On stranger tides is fun , very enjoyable, interesting, brilliant and has a good history. It meets its promises, giving us again a fresh, and addictive movie. Go watch it!

Insidious Movie Premiere @ 1Utama

The Scene starts with a young couple with three children that have just moved in to their new house. Sometime later, as Dalton (Ty Simpkins), the eldest son, is playing, he hears noises in the attic and goes to investigate. He steps on an old ladder to turn on the light when it breaks, causing Dalton to fall. He starts screaming after looking at a shadowy corner. He starts screaming after looking at a shadowy corner. Renai (Rose Byrne) and Josh (Patrick Wilson) help him, then tuck him into bed, confident he only took a minor fall and scared himself.

At first, Josh didn't believe what his wife said, until...

The next day Josh goes to wake Dalton, but he does not move. They rush him to the hospital where the doctors say he is in an unexplained coma. Three months later he is still in a coma and they bring him home to care for him.

Renai sees something scary...

Over the next few days, disturbing events begin to occur. Renai believes the house is haunted and Josh decided to move them to the new house, but still, Renai sees something in their new house until Josh's mother, Lorraine (Barbara Hershey) contacts a friend, Elise Reiner (Lin Shaye), who deals in paranormal activity. So, do you believe in science or superstitious? obviously, this kind of thing can't be explained by science...

The "Ghost Buster" =P

if you often watched Chinese Ghost movies, you might feel few of the scenes in this movie are familiar. This movie's directed by talented Malaysian-born director James Wan. There’s no gore here, just some frightening images, impeccable sound design, and gleeful, over-the-top pounding of piano chords. For me, it's mentally scary rather than watching some murders, full of blood and people's screaming.

Stacia brought a long her friend who's having birthday last night. The movie was too scary for her, and she CRIED! A great experience though, celebrating your 18th birthday with scary movie, will make you be more "mature". hahaha...

Combo 3, Pirates of The Caribbean

Reco bought a popcorn set for us, and because she was aiming for the Pirate's special edition Bandana, she bought combo 3 set (2 large cokes, and 1 large popcorn). It's limited edition and while stock last, so faster grab it from Golden Screen Cinema =) 

As for me...... Last night I bought an awesome T-shirt, good quality, and good price!

It's Only RM10 :)

Reco had bought this T-shirt when we watched Scre4m premiere in KLCC, and I just managed to get it now because last time there's no S size for me. Both of us will wear this t-shirt every time we come for movie's screening. AWESOME!!!
